I was wondering if anyone is a fan of a series of Harry Potter videos, each video based off of each chapter from the book, made in The Sims 2. Back in the early years of YouTube, when Warner Bros. was still making the movies, there were many people who made their own series of videos based off of the chapters of the books. The voices in the videos were by the audiobook's narrator. Jim Dale narrated the U.S. audiobooks, and Stephen Fry narrated the U.K. audiobooks. Some of these video series on YouTube were actually pretty good. Unfortunately, most of them have vanished from YouTube. It may be because of copyright strikes for using the audiobooks and the music from the Harry Potter movies and games.

I personally think that we should bring back these Harry Potter videos series', despite the books and films have come to an end (not counting Fantastic Beasts). I would love it if people began making these videos again. I personally think that The Sims 2 has the best Harry Potter custom content out there. I would have loved it if there was a series of each book, using sims and locations based off the look of the movies, yet based off the books with the audiobook voices.

I've seen HP-themed videos from time to time, but doing it chapter by chapter is quite a lot of work. Most videos/stories I've seen never got any further than somewhere into the first book.

Personally I did make some HP-themed sims and stuck them in a neighborhood for a while, but it never got any far, and this was a while before the last book came out.

I don't think it's a good idea to do audiobook themed series, because those are bound to get copyright claims anytime soon. Other versions might work, though.

Something based on the trio's adventures when they're not solving mysteries, other people in the books, their kids' adventures, or something based on the Fantastic Beasts storylines might be more interesting than yet another recreation of the stories in the books.

Been a while since I read them, but from what I remember they were quite alright, and some may even blend well with JKR's writing. Something like this - fanfiction (but not the weird, romantic kind) that stays true (enough) to the source material but still strays out and touches new, possible branches of the story.
