i dont know if anyone else is having this problem, but the mods one of my friends are gettin dont work for her game, but they work for mine.. does it matter what game version u got or something? my game version is 1.0.631.00107, and her's is 1.0.631.00001, her's is store bought and mine i got from Direct2Drive.. this is wierd. anyone else having this problem?

It shouldn't make any difference which version it is.

Does she have her mod folders and .cfg file set up correctly? That seems to be the main source of problems.

i sent her the .cfg file i had, that seems to be working fine for me. i even walked her through on what folders to make, and place the files into.

ok we found the problem, she misheard me on where to place the cfg file, she placed it in the mods folder where the mods were at instead of in the main sims 3 folder
ok everything is fixed now.
