Sonia passed the semester, no big issues this time. But his grades are not great, she's certainly not a very skilled student...

Cedric is running a yard sale, hopefully he'll get rid of some old stuff. Not only because money would be welcome, but also because he's so tired of raking leaves and needs to do something different.

And Eric keeps dating Janice Strawberry. Is this young couple working after all? I'm kinda surprised, tbh.


Pumpkin family

Janice arrived from her teen work with a last promotion, and right after she was out of the car she grew up - and got promoted to level 4! She did not go to the college for she saw no reason to (she's got a job in the Slacker career and her LTW is reaching level 10).
As an adult, and wearing a matching athletic outfit, she looks more and more like her own mom.

McKinney family

Now that Logan is quite independent, Miles can enjoy his own life as he did before. And that includes dating Petra Tylr, the landlady.
But apparently Jessica Pumpkin (who was passing by, and who is now married to Miles' nephew) did not take well seeing him fall in love with another woman

College

This was one of those rotations in which a semester ends, and another one was played from beginning to end. Sonia passed both, so no big deal.


Orosco family

What I love about playing smaller families is that I can pay more attention to details, such as Birgit gettin in shape and Adam thinking she's so desirable
Also they had a little yard sale to get rid of stuff they no longer use.


Apple family

Cedric's only company are the family ghosts. Oh, Sonia, graduate soon and come back to your father!


Strawberry family

Dina got a promotion and soon she'll be ready to be fully in charge of the family. But she has not rolled any baby want yet, I wonder when we'll have a new generation in this household...
Sean keeps dating Lyn Schwartz, they seem to be serious but so far no interest on either side to get engaged either. Why is this family not growing more?
Janice Pumpkin asked Eric down, but since she's already an adult he decided to reject the invitation and ask the matchmaker for a blind date instead. His date was townie Olive Beasley. It was a bit boring, but these blind dates are often a bit akward, so maybe things get better in the future.


Pumpkin family

The day began so well, with the family happy, grandma Joanne teaching baby Aaron to walk, Janice asking townie Tim Beaver on a date...
And then it all turned out wrong.
First because Joanne died. Of old age, and being the last of the original inhabitants to go, but still a sad event.
Then Jessica freaked out because she noticed Janice was dating Tim, who once was her own lover! Oh, such an hypocrite, our Jessica, she's been dating generations of the Strawberry family but would not accept Janice to hit on her own former lover.
This really screwed the relationship between her, and I'm wondering whether they'll solve their problems or is it going to become a real problem living under the same roof...


McKinney family

Miles grew up. Being an elder made him reconsider his life choices, and he decide it was time to settle for good - he proposed and married Petra Tyler right away!
This is his third marriage, so let's hope this time it turns out well enough.
Miles kicked their roommate out, cause now they need the second room...
And Petra already showed she's not happy to see Jessica Pumpkin around. Does she know she once was Miles lover, or simply assumes she could be?

College

Sonia keeps gaining enough skills to pass a semester. It's getting quite hard for her but it seems she's really focused.
Only a bit more effort and she'll be ready to go back to the family house!


Orosco family

Having a nice time. Young Frank is becoming a quite close friend of Logan McKinney, which makes sense since they are about the sam age. It's nice.


Apple family

Cedric - who still leaves alone, waiting for Sonia's return - simply can't keep up with the gardening. He has tried and tried, but he can't. So he decided to call a gardener to help him, starting tomorrow.
Yes, yes, they were saving up for a family cemetery, but he is having a tough time and they have some money after all.


Strawberry family

Eric had yet another so-so date with townie Olive, right before growing into adulthood.
I got him a makeover (looks too much like his brother Sean, and now they are in the same stage) and you can see his new haircut and his old lover - yeah, he decided to catch up with Janice Pumpkin!
Sean had a quite different kind of adventure: he got abducted! BO's mod must have scrambled his personality, so maybe we'll see new aspects of him now!


Pumpkin family

Janice got a promotion and brought pizza to celebrate it!
Life goes on as usual: John and Samuel helping around, Aaron growing into a child, Jackie growing into a teenager (Popularity/Romance aspirations, and yes, I put some make up on her).

Janice decided to ask out townie Tim Beaver, and had the most awesome date in the spa - although some of the Strawberries were around and were not happy to see her with other men, now that Eric is again into her.
And know what? Janice got pregnant of Tim. Yes, intentionally


McKinney family

Logan was a great friend of Jackie Pumpkin in their childhood, and now that she has also grown up he knows he wants her to be something else... He's so sure of his feelings towards her, that he already proposed to go steady
Also his stemmom grew up, as expected.

College

Sonia was unable to skill up in time, which made her chances of passing the semester null.
And what you do when you feel down? You ask your bf on a date! (Yeah, they are in their undies, and we all know why )
Now that her spirits are high, she'll hopefully sit and study for her exams.


Orosco family

Nothing much here. Quite a regular day.

Apple family

Also nothing much. It was snowing, and that was it.
Cedric keeps waiting for Sonia to graduate and come back home!

Strawberry family

Susan and Adam threw an anniversary party. Which was extremely enjoyable, despite Sean's attempts to burn the house down


Pumpkin family

Janice gave birth to her lemon-y baby boy, Timothy - named after his father, Tim Beaver, with whom Janice has no interest in creating any further bond.
Actually that very same day she decided to go for an outing with a friend, and there he started flirting with townie Khristopher Drake... who may also become her lover?


Tyler/McKinney family

Their apartment was so small and they had so little privacy that they decided to buy a house, despite not having lots of savings - and considering that Petra is not working, this may become an issue in the future.
But so far they are very happy in their new home, so much that Logan even adopted a furry friend - an stray named Hatbox.

College

Nope. Sonia did not get the skills she needed. And she failed again. And she got expeled. Oops.


Tyler/McKinney family

So now that they have a pet... why not get a pet job? It could really help if Hatbox was a good Vermin Catcher, would it not? :D
Funny that none of the human pixels have a job though xD

Apple family

After being expelled from college, Sonia returned to the family house and asked her fiance John Pumpkin to marry her right away.
She also got a job in the music career (her LTW) which will have to wait a bit because she's already pregnant!
Oh, my, a lot happened here in one day, hasn't it?


Strawberry family

Raph had been faithful to Dina for a while, but in the end he's quite a flirt... and he asked out this waitress just because he's bored. Plain as that.
His younger (and single) brother Eric also was on a date with townie Olive Beasly, whom he already dated as a teenager. Maybe these two are meant to be? He rolled a want to marry Janice Pumpkin though...
And Sean, well, Sean is so into looking for UFOs that now UFOs are looking for him... and this time he returned pregnant!!!


Pumpkin family

I must say it: I love how Samuel takes care of baby Timothy, despite not being his own grandson (but his wife's grandson). They are cute.
Specially considering his wife Jessica actually spent her time dating this college professor named Geraldo, which infuriated more than one - actually the baby's father, who apparently thinks that getting Janice pregnant is not reason enough to consider his relation with Jessica finished
Janice is infatuated with Eric Strawberry again though, and they even went as far as whoohooing - would have been amusing if she got pregnant from him, but she did not.
(And Jackie got a teen job btw, but all things considered it looks so irrelevant xD)

I haven't played in a long while, and hey, how I missed it!
Yesterday (edit: last Saturday) I had some quality me-time, and I run the game just to found out Origin is no longer, and I had to install some new thing, but whatever, who cares as long as the game works :D
I did not want to spend a lot of time designing the hood, so I just grabbed an empty one and put some houses, created a very generic household and played it for several Simdays.



I set the three of them as siblings, and their family name is Backers.
Anna is the red-head, she's a Fortune Sim and wants to have all the luxuries in the world. So far she got a job with a puny salary and manages to live.
Cassie is the blonde, she's a Pleasure Sim but what she really wants is to be extremely influential. So instead of getting a job, she decided to stay at home, doing the common chores, and try to find time to socialise.
Teresa is the brunette, she's a Knowledge Sim who is extremely interested in plants and would like to learn flower arrangement. She also got a job she does not care too much about, but there she is.

Their social life is very limited, because I had an empty townie pool and also use no-regen mods, but Cassie still managed to create some drama.
She dated the garden club member (Ignacio) for a while, and it looked like they were doing pretty well, but she grew bored and also asked the postman (Kelvin Gardiner) out. Ignacio caught them in the middle of a date, and after some well-deserved slapping Cassia decided it was not worth trying to fix it with him - she had a new lover anyway.
She eventually got pregnant, and after a shotgun marriage they are moving with baby Mary to an apartment of their own.


Anna has not dated so far, but Teresa seems to have found someone she likes. She's an NPC too, her name is Destiny, and they do look very cute together.

How are things so far?
Well, because I have so few families in rotation (and I play shorter lifespans) a lot has happened.

In the main house, Anna finally decided to create her own family. She was attracted to Ignacio Gonzalez, whom used to date her sister Cassia, so she went ahead. No hesitation. They dated very shortly and she proposed, got pregnant and then got married right before their child was born. It was a baby boy, whose name is Nacho (shorter for Ignacio).


Teresa and Destiny also got married. I thought they would remain childless, but Teresa in the end wanted to adopt a child of their own, and that's how little Perry came into their lives.
Perry is a child, older to his cousin Nacho (toddler), and so far he's enjoying the room which used to be Cassia's, but since the kids get along I think they'll end up sharing.

Cassia and her husband Kelvin Gardiner had two daughters. Mary (teen) and Veronica (child).
Work is going well, and they hope to be able to afford a house of their own soon, because renting an apartment is (in my game) rather expensive.


Now things are suddenly started to get weird. Brace yourself!

Cassia was one day visiting their sisters and families, when she happened to see Anna and Ignacio share a bed - and got mad. Obviously some unresolved feelings here, but it's been so long, Cassia!
Some slapping, whatever. She was in the wrong anyway.

Well, turn to play her household, and she wants to date more people... so that very same night, when the rest of the family is aslept, she phones Madam Vampire - whom she met a while ago in one of her outings, and got along fairly well - and asks her out
Cassia is very social, and her LTW requires making many friends and also using her influence often, so as she was getting influence points she wanted to use them right away.
And then both Anna and Ignacio crossed her path, in the very same disco she was with her date. Oh, petty Cassia knew she had to do something, and what would be the best (worst) use of your influence when you're on a date with your vampire friend? Huh?
Yes!
Now her sister and brother-in-law are vampires, and that's so NOT their style, it's gonna be a bummer for them.


What's going to happen from here?
I have no idea.
At all.

The vampire situation was fixed real quick, thanks to Teresa's wits.
She was extremely interested in becoming a vampire too, so she negotiatied with her sister and brother-in-law that she'll find a cure for them if they bite her.
And so they did, she got potions for them - but Anna would bit her before drinking.

So now Anna and Ignacio are back to normal, whereas Teresa is an (elder) vampire, focused on helping around the house and making bouquets.
Like, the weirdest vampire ever.
And nobody seemed flabbergasted by all this happening, only Destiny (Teresa's wife) seems to think it's all a little bit weird.
Teresa wished she joined her in inmortality, but Destiny said no way in hell. Teresa is not losing hope (and the want is locked, just in case Destiny changes her mind).

For the rest life goes on as normal. Destiny had lost a job, but finally found a new one, while both Anna and Ignacio were able to live off PTOs their vampire day ("yes, boss, I caught a really odd bug") and now are again doing their best to get promoted.
Kids are growing up fine, and getting along.

Same in the Gardiner household, they all get along and are growing well, and Mary is about to go to college!
