The picture was up at Tinypic, which is why it's gone. It's possible one is included in the zip file.

It says "functional cauldron" and AL is required, so I assume it means it works like a witch cauldron, but available through the catalog. Says nothing about being a default replacement, so I'd think it means this is a standalone.

They say the mesh and texture "was extracted" from Wanderlust's barrel, so I'd think this means it uses the same texture/mesh, but the item isn't required.

Nope, it doesn't show up in the hobbies section.

I'm thinking maybe if one of my simmies becomes a full witch, then it might be activated -- even if it's not a default ?

Could be the category wasn't set properly. In SimPE, "Misc" (for room sorting) and "Hobbies" (for function) are ticked, but the category level wasn't selected in the "Overall sort" dropdown list, which could mean the item is partially hidden but still available if you go to "hobbies" and click the "show all" symbol.

This file has the sorting fixed (hopefully, haven't tested) - https://simfileshare.net/download/4893178/ so now it should show in hobbies/misc.
