Timeline Legacy Challenge
Timeline Legacy pdf can be found here
The purpose of this Legacy is to play through the lifespan of The Sims 4 as the DLC’s were released. Each generation is a combination of enough packs to make up a generation, but some of them may be a bit unbalanced because of when the packs were released.
This is Part 1, it is a 10 Generation Legacy from Outdoor Retreat to University Stuff.
Rule Information:
What world to Live in: If a generation does not mention a specific world to live in, you may live anywhere.
Careers: If a generation says to “Max a Career”, you have to reach level 10 of either branch . Though if it says to “Join a Career”, then you do not need to complete the career, as it is not that generation’s focus.
Since many packs include multiple careers, it is your choice for which of the careers listed your sim completes.
Suggested: Anything listed below the Suggested, is optional and is some small things from the packs that might be fun to do. They are not a part of the required things, because they are sometimes kinda weird, things I’ve never done before, or maybe involves unaliving a sim.
Each Generation: The Heir must have the required traits, though a couple times, you are able to pick and choose between 2 specific traits. They also must complete the aspirations, max the skills, and complete the collectibles
Generation 5 is broken up into 3 parts, because your sim gets turned into a Vampire and they live a long life, if you don’t want to play it like this you may play each part as a separate generation, totaling the generation count to 12.
Recognizing that The Sims 4 is expensive and not everyone buys every Sims pack, hopefully this legacy can still be played with the packs that you do own. The DLC in the generation title is the main pack required, and the first bullets of each generation show which packs are included in the generation. You can decide if the packs you own are enough to play with the specific generation, the Expansion Packs are going to be the most important, followed by the Game Packs. The Stuff Packs are the lowest priority, so they are not necessary for the generation
