Rem here. I've been playing the sims since it came out almost 25 years ago. I haven't been active in any Sims related communities since TS2 had its own site. Primarily a TS2 player, a TS1 enjoyer, played TS3 for a few years, never played TS4. Hoping to further expand my knowledge and creative boundaries of TS2 by joining since there's still so much I don't fully understand about the game in spite of the many years under my belt with it.

There is plenty going on in Sims 2, the modding community is still as active as it ever has been, with a whole new generation of modders swooping in and giving us some really wonderful stuff (and the established modders are still making fabulous stuff, too). I hope you will post some pictures of your game in the Sims 2 pictures forum, and join in the discussion forums. There is also a forum to talk about upcoming simulation games:
