Default Can anyone understand my last exception error?
Hiya!

I play with a lot of mods and I mean a lot. We're talking thousands of different pieces. I wanted to get this out of the way so that the suggestion isn't to go through and delete and re-add every mod as that would take me days, possibly weeks. I use MCCommand centre and recently I've been getting a lot of last exception errors. For the most part, it tells me which mod is conflicting. However the past few days, I've been getting one which I don't understand and I was wondering if anyone else could make out what it means. I've tried about 5 times to add info buttons and spoilers, but it won't work

Thank you so much if anyone can figure out the mods that I need to remove to fix the errors!

your best bet with this one would be to take it to MCCC's discord. Do you know what your sim was doing or did the error occur in a particular neighborhood? is there a custom trait that might be involved, or a custom career? Can you easily re-create the situation that gives you the error? sometimes those things will give you clues as to where to look, even though the LE is not specific. Discord will be really helpful and they can point you in the right direction.

Hey, I'm currently having a similar problem, can you tell me how you solved it if you did manage to solve it?

The provided error indicates a desync issue in The Sims 4, related to a 'NoneType' object attribute error in the Buff system. Unfortunately, without specific mod information, it's challenging to pinpoint the cause. Try updating all mods, removing recently added ones, checking MCCommand Center settings, and using mod conflict detection tools.

I'm assuming the OP has resolved his problem by now. But for posterity's sake, a 50/50 search will find a broken item reasonably quickly even with thousands of items. If you don't know how to do a 50/50 search:
1) Pull half your CC/mods out of the Mods folder into another folder.
2) Launch the game and start a new save to test for the problem.
3) If the problem is still there, then the bad piece is in the half you left in the Mods folder. Repeat step #1 with the remaining pieces. Make sure to put this into a new folder, not the same one as the first half you pulled out. I always name mine "Split01", "Split02", and so on. That way I can keep track of which folder was pulled when.
4) If the problem goes away, the bad piece is in the half you took out. So move half of that back into the Mods folder and repeat step #2
5) Just like step #3, either the problem will come back or it won't. Either way, you've further narrowed down where the problem is.
And just keep cutting folders in half until you finally get down to just a handful of culprits.

I do this all the time. Even with over 20,000 items, it doesn't take that long.
Code:
F:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods> (Get-ChildItem .\ -Recurse | Where-Object { $_.Extension -eq ".package" }).count
