This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Late Night
Default Severely jagged graphics with Sapphire Radeon HD 4830
Hi,

This is my first time posting. I've installed the Sims 3 and there's a major problem with the graphics. I'm running a quad core AMD Phenom 9100c with 8 gigs of RAM. I recently installed a brand new Sapphire Radeon HD 4830 with the latest drivers (along with a 585 watt power supply). I've tried running the game on its lowest settings to no avail.

In desperation, I tried playing the game using the onboard graphics (ATI Radeon HD 3200) and while the graphics work fine, the game runs significantly slower.

My non-EA games (most recently MLB2K9) work great with my 4830, so I don't think the video card is defective.

I've attached a screenshot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the 4850 works there's no reason the 4830 wouldn't. I would check temps and update drivers.
