Anybody here participating in NaNoWriMo this year? I'm finally taking the plunge this year.

I was thinking about it. I don't know if there's a point in me trying though. I've tried to write novels before, and I haven't the self discipline for it right now. I think I have it in me to do, and one day (soon) I'll get a good enough idea and make it work. I've set goals for myself, making sure I write a certain amount every day to get to a certain word count by a certain time, and I fail. I don't know that calling the process "NaNoWriMo" will increase the odds of success.

Eh. I'll probably fail miserably, but I'll have had a great lark in the trying! This is really just to see if I have more in me than fanfiction.
