I had a sim in a dorm succeed in joining a greek house. I used the telephone to move into the greek house and she left the lot with a taxi. I then entered the Greek House, but the sim was not part of the household. I went back into the neighbourhood, and it shows that the sim is still part of the dorm. When I re-enter the dorm, the sim is in the UI, but is not actually there. She isn't in the sim bin either.

I'm not sure what to do. Is she just gone forever?

Helo maybe I can help you, but I want to ask you before:

1. Have you tried fixed it with bat box, to fix if your sims is actually invisible?
2. Have you tried to make her go to community lot to see if she becomes visible?
3. Did you use a lot of high polycount outfit or hairstyles?
4. Did you follow 4GB and Graphic rules maker tutorial?
5. Did you encounter pink soup often?

I have this problem before but the difference is the NPC is actually invisible, so I used bat box to see if he is fixed and it did. If this doesn't fix try to go to SimPE and retrieve her.

1. I don't think they were invisible because I tried interacting with objects but when I selected things like the telephone, nothing would happen, the interaction just stayed in the queue.
2. Tried using the phone but nothing would happen.
3. I don't think so, no.
4. Yep, everything was installed correctly.
5. I've never encountered pink soup in my game.

I managed to access my sim again by moving her to the sim bin from the hood and then moving her into another lot. I tried moving to the greek house using the telephone again but the same thing happened. She left using a taxi, I saved, went to the hood, entered the greek house, played for a bit, but she never showed up. The hood still showed her as being in her original lot.

That sounds like a mod conflict. I'm afraid there's a 50/50 in your future.

I am suspecting that something wrong with your University Pack. It probably didn't recognize your sims upon entering greek lot. I have this experience before. I remove them from the lot and they are suddenly fixed. What if you try to move out all of the greek member and put them to other lot. what will happen to your sims? Back up your game first before doing so. If that's doesn't fix it either force error using bat box, or get a good installer with fixed expansion packs...

Usually, upon entering the greek lot they appear near mailbox. if they didn't then the lot is glitched.

Yeah, it may take some experimenting. I ended up just moving the sim out of the dorm by sending to the sim bin and then moved her into a rental lot to finish up her semester... But I would still like to figure this out.

If it helps, the uni hood I'm using is Katatty's uni hood, which came with empty Greek houses. To fill it, I created new sims, moved them into the greek house lot, and then used the "changelotzoning greek" cheat to turn it into a greek house. Then, using my primary sim living in a dorm, I went through the usual process of inviting the new greek house sims over for the pledging.

I'm not sure what else could be causing the conflict since I don't have any mods related to Greek housing or moving to different lots. :/
