Default Mods that use PERSONGLOBALS.IFF
Hello, the thing is that I found an amazing cellphone mod for the sims. The problem is that it has a personglobals.iff file which I already use with the family mod. Is there a way to have both mods? or I will have to choose one as the personglobals.iff overwrite the other one?

You can only have one PersonGlobals.iff file in your game at a time. BUT inside the PersonGlobals.iff file are a whole bunch of subfiles, including 473 subfiles called BHAV's. It's these BHAV's that make things happen in the game, and no mod changes all 473 of them; most mods change only one or two.

It's entirely possible to combine the mods by opening up one of them with IFF Pencil 2 (which you can get at Sim Depot's useful Must-Have Programs page) and importing the one or two BHAV's that have been altered in Mod A into the file for Mod B. Provided that both mods haven't changed the SAME BHAV (which seems unlikely), then the new, combined mod should work.

To do that, though, you'd need to know WHICH BHAV's each mod altered, so you'd know which BHAV's to import from Mod A into Mod B. (Importing ALL of the BHAV's from Mod A into Mod B wouldn't work, because that would overwrite whichever BHAV's were making Mod B work.)

You mention a "family mod." Which mod is this? Who made it, and what does it do? If it's my Families Are Friends mod, I can look up which BHAV I changed, and you can import that BHAV into the PersonGlobals.iff file for the cellphone mod. And where did you get the cellphone mod from?

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

That's really interesting. Ok, I used the program and found out that the family mod is using new BHAV IDS, so I imported them to the mobile phone mod. It's not working for the moment, I suspect that maybe the family mod has others BHAV that I did not imported. But I don't know which could be.

The family mod is this one : https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=673645
And the celphone mod is this one : https://simfileshare.net/download/4679596/

I uploaded a picture with the BHAV I exported from the family mod and imported to the celphone one.

My health is poor, and I can do very little these days. I feel duty-bound to help people with my own mods, but I'm afraid I don't have the wherewithal to help people with mods made by others. You might ask the people who made those mods for help.
