I have found a website that has successfully archived all of the Maxis released downloadable content for The Sims, along with relevant detailed notes on each object (including which expansion packs they were added to later on, and their original descriptions from the official Sims site, where they were released):

A priceless resource that needs to be backed up, so that we don't ever lose it again.
