Default Does anyone recognize this dress or the mesh it might be using?
I would like to delete it out of my cc. Any help is appreciated.

No idea - but if you give all your CAS files a tooltip that matches their filename, it's a whole lot easier to find files you want to remove.

The tooltip tool always comes in handy when working on removing files: https://modthesims.info/t/321239 (tick the box that makes it change the tooltip even if there's another one present).

(Depending on where you find the file in your folder, it's possible the mesh is there. I think one of the newer tools by Pick'n'mix can find meshes based on CAS files, but I'm not sure. If not, it's possible to sort them out in SimPE, if a bit tedious).

All the tooltip says is "By Alisa" and I don't know the file name for the dress either. It's really old and I probably downloaded it sometime after 2014. I'll have a look into Pick'n'mix, thanks.

You can run all the files you're unsure of (or your entire Downloads folder) through the tooltip tool if you want - it only touches CAS recolor files. I've done this for larger amounts of CAS items when sorting through CC, and it makes finding the files much easier.

I found a page with that dress here: https://simsomia.blogspot.com/2012/11/blog-post.html, but I can't download from it so can't see the whole mesh name. The page does say it uses a mesh by lidiqnata, though. I've got some things with meshes by that creator, and the file names for the meshes all seem to end in *ByL or *_byL.

edit: spelling

lidiqnata is still active here, and has meshes on their site:
https://lidiqnatasims2.5quality.eu/meshes-adult.html
And here too:
https://modthesims.info/d/526368/hu...s-set-pt-1.html
It could be that AF mesh 57, if not then perhaps @lidiqnata will know which one.

Another thing you can do (if you can't get past the adfly link) is to put the dress on a sim, package them, and install in a folder in Downloads (preferably with Clean Installer, as the default installer sometimes changes the file names). That way you can see the filename of the dress.

For the mesh, if you find some by Lidiquinata that are similar, it's possible to compare those mesh files with the recolor file (SHPE/CRES and 3DIR) to figure out what's the correct mesh.

Those are both great ideas thank you!

I did look through Lidiqnata's meshes earlier and I just can't tell which one it would be! Asking directly would be best if I can't get download organizer to do it!

I ended up using Delphy's download organizer to scan and see what orphans I have in my clothes already. I think I'm just going to delete the texture and see if I can't get DO to get rid of the mesh. If not, I've got my stuff backed up.

Hi, it's hard even for me, but my best guesses are: HC6, 12 or 14.
Give them a try and it none works, make a screenshot from the side I'll find it.

Hi! Thank you for letting me know! I did manage to get rid of it a while back. But I appreciate that the actual creator came to help!
