Didn't Grant say at one point that we don't have poker and other casino games in Sims 4 because today's young people don't gamble? And the same goes for other things from previous games like print/deliverable newspapers and landline phones.

I have been wondering though, why don't we have longer hairs in the Sims 4? There's that one from the university pack, but other than that most "longer" hair only reaches below the shoulders. There's the illusion of long hair with ponytails and updos, but it's something they did so much better in The Sims 3.

I know the loot box machines ( disguised as vending machines) in Snowy Escape are not casino-ish, but there is gambling in the game. For the time being, the loot that comes from said machines doesn't cost real money.

Honestly, I AM shocked.

10 years of good sales and profits on the Sims 4, and now we have better computer technology and development tools than ever before. Yet they can't pull together a team to make something that can rival what Maxis did almost 20 years ago? This has to be sheer incompetence and mismanagement to extreme levels. There is no excuse for this outcome for the Sims. None at all. They have utterly failed their community which took them decades to build up. A community who stuck around after every disappointment, and who were still willing to stick around and wait and give Sims 5 a chance. And now they give us this cop-out corporate speak? I'm lost for words.

Welcome to Fact Club #1:

Corporations aren’t our friends. They don’t care whether you’re alive or death, let alone what a silly video game means to us. Emotions and sincerity isn’t and never is their thing; Money is, And coming from Electronic Arts, they wouldn’t be electronic if they weren’t a Con-artist they used to be.

On a brightside: At least we won’t see another hot discussion how broken and lackluster the next gen Sim game is. I don’t know how you still people TS5 could have surpassed TS4.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

For us who are ranting here, there is a survey from EA about upcoming game (expansion) packs, so at least they seem to be somewhat interested in our opinions.

You never know what’s comin’ for ya.

I did the survey. I voted for Cyberpunk and Crime & Law enforcement.

We got Plumbots and a detective career in Get To Work. But that was so long ago and the Plumbots leave a lot to be desired when compared to the ones we got in Sims 3: Into the Future. So I think they could do with a full refresh. I also think the Crime pack could be a good opportunity to bring back burglars and give us new active careers.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't care much for new worlds? I feel like we have enough already and if we could vote for an expansion pack to omit a new world in exchange for extra gameplay instead I would be all for it.
