Default WCIF A Pets Stealth hood with less pets
I like having strays in my game, I also like some of the Maxis strays that is already in the stealthhood. But that hood just adds a bit too much strays for my taste (and same wolfs everytime?) I was wondering if anyone did a clean version with less # of pets and no wolfs in it (so game create random ones)

I am aware there is an empty version, but I like some of the strays. If I knew how to extract them I could make them strays myself (I am pretty sure a teleporter or sim blender can do it)

I have the Pets stealth hood blocked so it doesn't generate to stop the bloat, however I do like Cyd Roseland the premade sim that comes with Pets. So I use MeetMe's stealth Pets hood as It adds just The Roseland family - Cyd Roseland and his dog Porthos, and the Crittur family (the 2 dog family)

Then make pets you want and then turn them into strays with Sim Blender .. this will allow you to have the number of and the breed of strays that you want.

One thing I used to do it was manually deleting some of the characters/townies before adding a specific subhood, which I'm not sure it's the safest option when it come with memories/relationships/general sim data but I doubt Pets in stealth hood would have a significant impact? I remember using this method to add edit the Magic stealth so I could add just the witches and not the whole bunch of townies that comes with it.
Can't remember how many pets are added by default since I've been using clean templates forever, but if you open Clean Installer and select the character folder of the stealth hood you should be able to delete some of them... Just to be on the safe side, I'll back up my hood before adding the edited stealth and then I'd run hood checker before actually playing the game.
Not sure if it's recommended nor risk free, but I never had any issues in the past with this method.

Yeah I was thinking on doing this. There seem to be only 15 strays and rest of them are pets for adoption pool. I might delete them all except the 15 strays and run it on a test neighborhood and check with HoodChecker if it sees any issues, play test it a bit and see if it comes up with any problems. I doubt adoption pool pets has any reliationships anyway
