Bake-able cakes!! I was super upset after realising that (having transitioned from TS4 -> TS3) I couldn't have my sim's parents make a cake the night before their birthday. I'm not sure whether it was a feature in the previous Sims titles, but it was definitely a feature I loved in the Sims 4 since I mainly do generations gameplay.

Not to toot my own horn, but there's a mod for this! I have additional cakes for it on my tumblr.

The ability to bake any cake as a birthday cake is new to TS4, I'm pretty sure. Awesome feature.

I long for wedding customization akin to TS4, except working properly.

I'd really like a better attraction system. There are some TS4 mods that get closer to what I want, but they don't quite get there either. I'd like to see a closer simulation to real life attraction. You are attracted to certain physical and behavioral things that you can pick up quickly -- appearance, maybe sound of voice, seems to like dancing because is dancing right now, etc. Then you tally up a deeper kind of attraction (or negative attraction -- repulsion?) as you get to know them and learn their traits. It's not a world of perfect information, where you heart-fart across the room for someone you just met based on their traits, which you don't know. And someone who is physically exactly your type might turn out to be a terrible trait match when you get to know them. When physical attraction and emotional attraction line up, you get the status of soulmates.

I have toyed with the design of a mod that does some of this, but it's enough work I'm likely to never finish.

And to answer your curiosity, you can only bake a cake in TS4😅
