Default I don't understand how to get my old game over to a new laptop
Hi. i havent played Sims3 for a while. I've just bought a new laptop and have finally managed to get my Sims3 game to start up after 3 days of trial and error. Now I'd like to transfer my old saves and files over to the new game. In my old game everything was placed straight into the Sims3 folder. However, the EA app has installed the game with a lot of subfolders instead, and I dont understand where I need to put everything. I,m sure somebody else must have had this issue, but I havent been able to find any info on it. Can anybody help, please? I've added a picture to show how the Sims3 folder is set up now

That's your installation folder, whereas your user data goes into the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 folder.
If you run the game for the first time, that folder will be generated in that location and you can move the old files into it
