Default Is there any program to check for corrupt CC?
Returned player here, 14 years without touching the sims 1, I bought the legacy collection, I barely have an idea there was a program to check the downloaded cc files but I can't find anything.

There's a program called File Cop that checks for bad skins; you can get it at Sim Depot's handy Must-Have Programs page.

Beyond Sims has a LOT of helpful programs, which you can browse through at https://beyondsims.com/games/sims-1/downloads/. One of the programs they have is Sims Object ID, which checks to see if any of your downloads have a duplicate GUID (which would crash your game). They also have Skin Doctor, which does what File Cop does, plus more.

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html
