just seen series 4, Episode 12
and it was brilliant!! i wont spoil it for you but things are starting to get more confusing lol

I love Lost! It's such a unique, perplexing show. I would have to say that Sawyer is my favorite character (and not only because of his appearance).

LOST is amazing.
Jate is my obsession.

who's Jate? lol Season finale tonight!!! They better answer some questions I have or I'm never watching the show again... oh who am I kidding... I have to watch to find out WHAT IS GOING ON!!! Each week I'm disappointed cause I want more... but I love it so much I keep coming back... it's an abusive relationship really ... lol

Season finale was amazing. Really good special effects, too- when the island dipped into the ocean, I just sat there staring. The finale posed a lot of new questions, but I think Zaggy's right about how it keeps you coming back regardless. I couldn't believe the last few seconds where Locke was in the casket.

Could have screamed at the TV when Sawyer jumped out of the helicopter, though. I'm curious as to whether he said anything more to Kate than just "I love you."

If you remember earlier in the season, Kate came home to find Jack drunk on the couch, he asks her where she was, and she said doing something for Sawyer.

The finale was AMAZING! And I gotta say I love Ben, he's such a great character and Michael portrays him wonderfully. I felt so sad when Alex was killed though...now I'm rooting for Ben to get his revenge over Widmore, heh. And I was really happy Desmond didn't die and was reunited with Penny, aw. They're my favourite Lost couple.

The ending was a shocker though. And I find it so interesting that the show started with the premise that everyone wanted to get off the island and now everyone needs to go back. Just awesome.


*sighs at the long months of waiting until season 5*

Did anyone watch the extra endings they filmed?
Pretty much a let-down if you expected some big, completely different ending like we did at my house.
It was just in case it was leaked who was in the casket. The other two were Sawyer and Desmond.

So you're happy that Des and Penny are together again, but you're rooting for Ben getting his revenge on Widmore by killing Penny? That's exactly how I am. Gotta love Des/Pen, but Ben is just amazing. He was so awesome in the finale, huh? He had tears in his eyes when he was moving the island! So sad!

The scene in a previous episode where Locke asked Ben where he was going and Ben said that he had to go say goodbye to his daugher broke my heart. Whoever plays Ben (is his name Micheal Emerson?) is an amazing actor. His ruthlessness just chills your blood, but he can display a great depth of emotion, as well. I'm with Ghanima and Dimlen, though- I want him to kill Penny. The reunion between Penny and Desmond on the boat was great and all, but I'd like to see Ben's story develop and see him get his revenge more than I want to see Des/Pen ride off into the sunset.

Ben is completely my favorite character. I LOVE him! Anyone remember a couple of episodes back when Ben goes to look for Sayid in Tikrit? Remember he was wearing that jacket and had the cut on his arm when he beat the piss out of those guys in the desert? Makes you really wonder about the islands time travel capabilities huh? Like he knew they were going to get off the island so he went to get them to come back. AHHHH i love this show!!!

PS. I'm waaay over the Jack Kate Sawyer love triangle...It was cute in the beginning but they're bouncing around so much I really don't care anymore. Can we get to the more interesting aspects of the show please? If I want to see a love triangle I'll watch some crappy show like Gossip Girl (although I've never seen it... I can imagine).

Ben said that the person who moves the island can't come back. Perhaps moving the island creates some sort of warp in time and space that dropped him in the future when the castaways had already been rescued (the future meaning the desert)? Didn't he cut his arm in the Orchid and he showed up in the desert with a cut? It would make things click. Maybe he's not even 100% back (anyone ever seen Timeline?) and needs to return to the island to make things come full circle, but he can't go back without the Oceanic 6.

I also have a theory that perhaps the island draws back people who were born there. Didn't Charlotte say something on the finale about how she was still looking for where she was born (presumably the island)? Maybe the island "wanted" her to come back, so to speak, because she has a purpose there. Ben needs everyone to return the island, which means that Aaron has to return, too, and he was born there. Maybe there's some sort of cosmic force on the island that imposes a rule so that you can never really leave.

I don't know. Just theorizing. This show encourages the sci-fi geek in me.

Oh totally, Zaggytiddies! That was an awesome moment in the Ben fandom! He DESTROYED them with their own weapons! I'm telling you, he and Sayid make an unstoppable force! The only person ever on Lost more awesome then them was Mikhail. Poor Mikhail. I still think you're alive.



I know how you feel. I absolutely hate Jack and Sawyer killed Tom, so he's on my bad side. Kate should just hook up with Hurley or Juliet or someone.

Jack is too much of a goody two-shoes. Part of me can see Kate ending up with him because she wants to change and admires the hero in him, but part of me can see her being turned off because he's too good for her and will always do the right thing. Because she's not as good as him and Jack is dedicated to perfection and control, he'll always try to change her. Sawyer encourages her wild side too much and maybe she's tired of that life- maybe she wants to change, but not as much as Jack wants her to. I think that Kate is destined to be alone- she constantly pushes away both Jack and Sawyer, and she just seems too unstable to be in a relationship with either of them. I could be biased, but I don't think she deserves Sawyer (although I'll take him if she won't... :D).

As much as I hate the pairing, I think the show is setting up some Sawyer/Juilet thing. The two left alone on the beach is like foreshadowing.

On a different note: How many people think Jin is dead for good? I'm not sure what to believe. He was on the opposite side of the freighter from the explosion, but the way the ship went under wasn't very promising. Any opinions?

I think he's 100% dead. Remember the flash forward/flash back where Sun was having a baby and Jin was buying a stuffed animal? It turned out that Sun was having his baby off the island in the future and Jin was serving his boss in the past. Sun met up with Hurley and took the baby to visit Jin's grave. There was probably no body and you never know if anyone is really dead on this show (remember how many times Boone popped up in someone's dreams?), but I would say that he's a goner.

I do remember than scene, but it didn't convince me of anything. There are probably grave markers for everyone that stayed on the island. If he did survive the explosion, though, he would've had to "move" with the island in order to not be stranded in the middle of the ocean. I'm not sure how much of the surrounding ocean "moved" with the island, but in Lost you can never really tell, can you? There's people like Richard, who lives forever, Locke, who underwent a magical faith-healing process, Mikhail, who died about three times and, you know, all the undead people wandering around. I don't think we've seen the last of Jin, alive or dead.

Richard fascinates me. I'd love to hear more about him and how his immortality came about.

Yes! Yes! I want to know all about Richard and the others! It was nice to get a glimpse of other life through Juliet's flashback. And who thinks Richard was the cabin boy on the Black Rock? I know I do!

I heard that Jin was still alive.
But who knows...
I know so many spoilers, I can't keep track of what's true and what isn't. xP
If you want him dead, he's prolly still alive. Seems like that happens a lot in the show.
If you want him alive, he's prolly gone. -snort-

I think Kate will end up with Jack. I used to be a Skater in season one, but then Jate just grabbed my heart. Now it's the number one reason I watch the show.

Suliet would okay...but I kinda like the idea of Conmama...if Claire is still alive.
But then again, I also have a fondness for Kayid. xP

I was hoping for Tawyer (Tom/Sawyer) for awhile. Haha.

If Kate does push both Jack and Sawyer away, they're gonna have to make it Jawyer. =)

FTW! But I must say that I prefer Tack. I'm so glad Tom turned out to be "officially" gay. Of course I could tell the whole time. Gaydar, you know. I also ship Charliet, but I doubt that'll ever happen. It's the only way I'll ever forgive Juliet for killing Pickett. I liked Pickett. And, you know, all of the other others that have been killed systematically from season three onwards. Thanks a lot Sawyer and Keamy. Freaking jerks.

Yeah, Sawyer can be kind of a jerk. Even if he is a jerk, he's my jerk :lovestruc.

Those shirtless scenes? AWESOME.

Anyway, back on topic... Tom/Sawyer... LOL. I would have liked to see a Charlie/Juliet storyline develop, as well, but I think he was too caught up in Claire to care about her. Of all the characters who have died on the show, it's Charlie who I miss the most (although Boone is a close second).

Oh, Boone! He was so boyish and pretty, I loved him. Except everytime he walks into someone's (Locke) dream/hallucination, his hair seems to be growing longer and longer. Plus, if he had lived, the only way for him was Locke/Boone.

And I miss Charlie too, he was funny and lively and hobbitlike :D

But I was pretty happy when Ana-Lucia bit the bullet (literally), she was so frickin' annoying, I was surprised someone didn't just shoot her for that.

I definitely don't miss her. Everything about her annoyed me. I think that she was killed off because of all the drama with the actress' criminal behavior, but that's just my two cents.

Boone definitely was pretty. His eyes were so dreamy and lush. You're right about his hair, though. Maybe the island afterlife doesn't have a barber :P. I can't imagine him and Locke, though... Locke both fascinates me and creeps me out.

I didn't mind lost for the first two seasons, but i watched the latest finale and swore at the TV.

A) Magic wheel in the ice room on the tropical island that can move the island. FAIL
B) General WTH-ness of it is now so out of proportion, they are dragging it out too much now and it just isn't as urgent to watch the next episode.

:] And sadly there is another 2 seasons? >.> <.< Thats when the Nazi's invade the island and dinosaurs join the polarbears and a parralel world forms and... pixies...
