The spidery limb glitch is back. With added eyes!

Not my thread, but I saw this. Quite horrifying

I had the tall skeleton thing happen to me in Sims 2 and someone saved my life by telling me they discovered it was a serious conflict with your antivirus protection. I had to shut it off before playing and all was well. (don't forget to turn it back on afterward)

For laptops, this is may be caused by The Sims 4 defaulting to an integrated Intel chip instead of using a dedicated NVIDIA or AMD chip (or card). This seemed to be my problem. Instructions as the link below helped!

I just got this glitch. The game has found and matched my intel card. The control panel shows that the game is using my correct card. I'm going to attempt rewriting the .sgr files tonight to see if I can force the game to find/match the correct card. Will report if this is successful and if it fixes the demon baby glitch.

I had already done this when I saw that the demo had found/matched the wrong card. So those tips didn't work. I'm hoping it's just the wrong card being actually found/matched. Should be just a matter of either deleting that intel card from the files and letting the game find the correct one or figuring out how to rewrite it. Won't know till tonight when I can get back to my laptop.

I don't understand the 'intel' reasoning--the game should support both integrated and discrete video hardware, so whichever one it decides to use should 'work'. CC seems more likely, unless these screenshots are coming from verified 'clean' installs.
