Default Change professor teaching major with simpe
How can I edit the professors majors using simpe? I have generated many professors and when my sims call them to get scores soon that function become inactive and no scores are gained anymore, so I wanted to have a variety of them, but now something is messed up with drama professors, the game is using professors from other majors for drama, it is now a big confusion who is for what, I want edit, I have used SimPE before.

How can I edit professors and change their teaching major? I don't know if I was clear in my above message, my English is not so good, I have read a post someone saying he could edit and change professors major but I don't know how that is done.

What do you mean by your sims calling them to get scores? Have you spawned more professors than the two for each subject?

Professors shouldn't change their majors, so it looks as if you have a bigger problem going on here.

No, there is no problem my game is fine,
if you use cheat code plus shift and click the mailbox you get the option to make more professors, call professors by phone or interacting with them to get scores raised is possible too and I don#t recall if this is normal from game or I added a hack for that be possible, and yes I want change the the teaching majors of professors I have generated, I read someone was successful doing this, I just wanted to know how to edit.

From what I understand of what you've posted, you want to continue to have the ability to raise your sims' class performance bar by building relationship with the professor, but after a while, that stops working for each professor. Because it's stopped working, you created more professors, but now just want to change the majors of existing professors so that students can continue building grade progress but with a different professor.

The grade (or score) gain from interactions with the professor is from building relationship with them. Was it after you maxed the friendship bar that the class performance bar stopped increasing for interactions with any given professor? If that's the case, decreasing the relationship with between the student and professor should enable you to continue using relationship improving interactions to raise the class performance without needing new professors (I'd use sim blender to lower the relationship because that will lower both your sim's bar as well as the professor's bar).

If that doesn't help with what you were trying to do, or you still are having problems with professors and are wanting to change their majors for some other reason, I'm sorry. I don't know how to do that, and don't understand what problem you are having with drama professors.

Not to criticize how you choose to play your game, but...there are simpler ways to raise your grade by a lot more than schmoozing professors does.

Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

Yes! You got it right, but for me it#s super fun to call them and interact with them to raise the grades, I have created more professors not specifically for that, but because I wanted have more for each major, and I want change some of the created professors teaching majors, I really want to do that as I said I read a post of someone saying he edited that, but it was a very old post and he didn#t say how that is done, I just want to tweak professors and shape them to my liking, I have already removed the old ugly ones and made new goog looking ones, well that's it

The old post I found where someone changed the professor's major, it sounded like they changed this the same way that you can change any sim's major if they are a current student or a graduate. There is a tab in the Sim Information in SimPE where you can change it, I would try this and see if it works.

I think the grade boost for interacting with professors is quite low. There is a mod here, which increases the grade boost if you woohoo the professor (woohoo is the sims term for, um, a certain kind of intimate interaction. I seem to recall that it's translated "creatively" in some game languages, so I hope you understand!) https://modthesims.info/d/307464/mo...professors.html

I did also find some info in a game guide that says once their relationship reaches a certain level, the grade boost will no longer happen even if the sim continues to socialise with the professor.

I use the sims as a psychology simulator...

Thank you, I do have that mod to woohoo the professors but I don#t like to be romantic with them, all my my sims already go to university committed with some other sim I play like if they born already to belong to another sim and grow up for that specific sim with the features they like etc, but I like to call professors and also to invite them to ask them to do the assignments and write term paper and once the grades stop raising with relationship I go to the next professor well for me is so fun
But you mentioned the person in question used the tab information in SimPE could you tell more about what tab is that? Will it work, for example if I change a professor major from arts to drama, or from biology to politics?

If you open a sim in SimPE, there is a tab called "University" - I would look here.

I don't know if it works as I have not tried it.
