I have no experience modding but since I can't find one I want to try and make a baby shower mod. I don't know if events are even able to be modded in the sims 3 but if they are I figured that the wedding event would be a good base for a baby shower mod. I know things would need to be changed to a sim being pregnant instead of engaged to be able to hold the event and changing the categories for gifts to be able to be bought would be under the baby categories in Build buy. I don't know where to look for the full code to be able to extract everything. I did open up the xml game files and found the following for the wedding event. Looking through files I couldn't figure out which file is need to be able to change the code to add baby shower to the list of ingame events.
