Columns. . At this point SimsArch has done it better than me, but columns are what you use to make a wall look properly curved if octagon segments aren't gonna cut it!

It's not to look like a wall, but to actually be a wall.

That means by all means and intent the game treats it the same as any other wall. It must be paint-able with any wallpaper, normal sims must not walk through it by default, you must be able to place tiles around it in the same way as other walls.

Good luck!

Edit: On a slightly different note, just saw the builds you've posted... makes my builds look like crap. Some seriously good work there[1]!

If Zar says you have to use columns - then you have to use columns. End of Story.

After SimSample's comment about having a 'scandalous' button in addition to the other reaction buttons, I finally sat down and wrote up the beginning of Tinsel Town's very scandalous episodes with all the names in it.

I think we should have a thread with nothing but the worst stories of the scandals in everyone's neighborhoods-just to compare notes. TT has been around for a while, and it's got more than its' share of jaw dropping, "WTF" moments.

We were discussing limits of the game, and he mentioned there were no limits as to what he could build. Thus I mentioned curved walls, as an example of a limit of the game.

See below for context:

It's certainly an advantage. That, and no more official updates - which means mods won't get broken by game updates. (That's a good thing!)

Though, for me it's a decent escape from reality for a while. Real world issues aren't a thing in game, you can build it exactly as you want, no matter what it is you want[1]. I consider it a break from real life.

[1] Within limitations of what the game is capable of doing, of course.

I completely agree, except for this idea that there's some sort of limit on what I can build! I refuse to accept it, I say! I refuse!!

Build a curved wall.

Sometimes I seem to favour some sims over others, in a sense become more attached to them. I noticed it today, for one sim I put a lot of effort into making things fit them, for the other I just "threw it together". Odd.

If there's a household I'm less enthused about playing, I spend time decorating their house and it ends up motivating me to want to play them more because at least I can enjoy the environment.

I still don't know what to think of Mr. Spock repeatedly ignoring his own bed and getting into Captain Kirk's (sometimes while Kirk was also sleeping in it).

Did any of ya'll know that Bluewater is an actual place? It's in New Mexico, US. We were drivin from California to Texas and I saw a sign that said Bluewater Village. I sooo wanted to take a picture, but we passed it to quickly. So I had t look it up for info instead :P
So really Bluewater Village should have the desert ground and not the lush.

I have got to stop finding mods for TS2. So, I just found this:

https://modthesims.info/d/632096/temperature-mods.html

... Yup. Only needed to add a couple of bits into the BHAV regarding "hell lots" for compatibility with my game (stops the devil bursting into flames from over heading :-P!), but even so. This is getting ridiculous, the mods I'm downloading are getting bigger and bigger which means I have to check them closer and closer for compatibility, even editing in some cases.

What have I got myself into!

Very interesting! During development I read an interview with one of the Maxis employees that suggested they named it after this place (business connection you see), but I have no idea where or if I could find it again!

Was it ever fixed, BTW, that showing-pregnant always sims show the third trimester belly on community lots? I went looking for this last night and found nothing, but did find a thread discussing how, once they have shown their third trimester belly on any lot, they will show that always. So I went to test it and took my just-popped sim out to dance. Sure enough, she was huge, and when she got home, she stayed huge.

I have never noticed this before!

I use the sims as a psychology simulator...
