Anyone i would be grateful if sumone could plz help me, everytime i go in to buy a tv my game crashes and i need help as i miss playing it, coz ive just made a new family who needs a tv but i cant buy one until i can fix my problem...

i have like sumhow gotten heeps of alienware computers installed on my computer and i think that is what is crashing my game, as every single alienware p i have they have put them at like a dollar differnce so there everywhere and i just need to know how to get rid of half of them so i wont crash anymore...it say the something now the game will now terminate...plz help im addicted and miss it, as its totally awsum with all the hacks

You both should download the Sims Clean Installer you can find it somewhere on here. It will find all the hacks that are messing up your game and you can delete them one by one, it helped me out. I had a problem with the mailbox it wouldn't let me go to any of my houses and when I did a run of the Clean Installer it found the mailbox and I deleted it and now my game works. Good luck!

plz sumone i really need help with this...i cant seem to find what the alienware computers r under so i can delete them...does anyone have any clues, i have Clean Installer but i dont know how to use it...plz sumone help me to get my game back up and running properly...everytime i go into either buy a computer or tv, it comes up with a message saying " the application has crashed, the game will now terminate" :-s

That is happening to me right now, I need to find which file is making the game crash! I'm going to play with Clean Installer when I get home! Does it say whether files are corrupt or not?

ive never used Clean Installer b4, im only new to all of this stuff...but as i explained b4 everytime i go into buy a computer or tv the game freezes and says that little message...and i dont know what the alienware computers r under, alot of them have just appeared in my game themselves...

Yeah the "Game has crashed. It will now terminate" or whatever message? Same thing is happening with me! If I find out which file it is I'll let you know in case you have the same file.

I had alot of Alienware's before I started using the clean installer. they get installed with lots you download and stuff.

No it's not the alienwares, although they are annoying since they take up space, it's a corrupt file in your downloads directory (maybe one of the alienwares IS the corrupt file, you never know). I've been through this once before. Huuge pain, but if this Clean Installer can find the corrupt file I will be SO happy!

yeah i could imagine, well i dont know how to use the clean installer, but when i scan the downloads folder the newspaper hack is highlighted red, so i disabled the package and thought that is what might have been doing it, but nope when i still tried to buy a tv it still crashed...yes the alienwares r taking up a hell of alot of room and its annoying me, i wish they were just under one computer and thats it, but no they all have to be dear then one another by one dollar which is making it hard...i really hope sumone can help me

You could probably just delete them from in the game. Go in like you were gonna buy one, click it and then click on the lil trashcan icon.

Another thing you might check for a bunch of is the cappucino machine. For some reason I had just shy of 20 of them, yet I never downloaded any recolors or extras. Strange.

hey i might just do that, thanks for ya help i really hope this works and im not sure about the cuppinco machines, but i really think its the computers coz i can play the game no probs uo until i go to buy mode and click electronics and then go to the tv, then thats when it crashes..but thanks for ya idea :D

Yeah definitely delete the excess alienwares. I did. I can't even open the TV panel though when I click on the little tv icon the game crashes. gahh its driving me crazy!

oh no, it sounds like thats the exact problem i have...it drives ya really mad, just take it from me, i yell and scream at the computer when it does it, coz it takes forever for my game to realod up from scratch lol

hey, ive deleted some of the alienwares and it still crashes . ive also used Clean Installer and deleted all the ones that were highlighted red, and it still even crashes...Can anyone else give me sum idea's?
