Question about The Sims: Complete Collection (Parties, Meme, Party Crashers and Drew Carey)
Can someone please explain to me: if I throw a party on a new lot once, Meme, Party Crashers, and Drew Carey have a chance to appear. However, if I throw a party every day, these NPCs no longer show up on the lot. Is this a bug, or is there an explanation for this?

The party controller has a cool-down period such that you don't get those things if you've had them recently; this is by design. The mime, party crashers, and celebrity are supposed to be special events, and they don't feel special if you get them every time.

Ooh, thanks! That’s annoying. I would love to have them on my everyday parties. I'll have to dig through the game files and set the cooldowns to 0. Hopefully, I can do that.
Or this would be a great idea for your future amazing mod, I'm not hinting at anything. :D

I'm afraid my health is very poor, and I cannot do much these days. But if you decide to mod it yourself, use FarOut to extract HPPartyController.iff from ExpansionPack2.far, then open it with IFF Pencil 2.
