Default Sims 2 treats as if i just started playing it for the first time
I uninstalled OneDrive from my PC But that was a grave mistake. I nearly lost everything i have, and it fucked up my game too. When i play the game, it will be treated like i just started the game; No mods, no CAS sims, no sub-hoods, yada yada.
Everything else is visible outside of normal Gameplay, and in SimPE. My CAS Sims are hidden and the mods don't work anymore. And my files turn into read only all of the time, and it's probably because i did a grave mistake of hiding my documents, with properties because i am a dumbass.

What do i do?!
I have Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and i run my pc on Windows 11

Always backup everything (to a location preferably away from the computer, like an external harddrive/thumbdrive/similar) before doing changes like that. Always.

If OneDrive is affecting the Documents folder, it can and probably will delete or mess up files in the Documents folder when you attempt to remove it. If it hasn't deleted the files, it most likely did something to the folder path, so the game no longer reads the files properly, at least if the game was tied to the OneDrive path.

Check if this location still exists (either one, depends on game version) - "name" is the name of the computer:
C:\Users\NAME\Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection
C:\Users\NAME\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2

It's possible your computer regenerated the folder when you ran your game after removing OneDrive. In that case, it will have reset everything to "factory settings" (a clean copy of the files in the install location).

It still exists. But once again, my Sims 2 thinks i just downloaded the game, even when i loaded a lot (more specifically the Pleasants Family) it asked me whether i want to enable game tips or not which only occurs if you reset your game tips (which i didn't) or just started playing for the first time

It honestly sounds like your saves are gone. What you're describing is exactly what would happen if the C:/Users/User/Documents/EA Games folder was removed and the game created a new one.

What file path is SimPE looking at? Check your SimPE settings to see where your user data is set up to be. Then you could delete the fresh folders that the game has created and replace them with a copy of the folders that SimPE is seeing.

I will choose a path that's clear- I will choose free will

Go to that file path; that's where the files are. Make a safe copy of them! Then you need to look to see where the new files that your game created are.

And on your screenshot of the SimPE settings, is the path the same? It is chopped off after The Sims 2.
I think it's different- your files are on the desktop.

Yes, you need to figure out which one has your content in it, and make a safe copy of it for a backup.

Then you can figure out which set is being read by the game, and copy your actual neighbourhood and cc into that.

Could you please show me a screenshot of your Documents folder? That is- C:\Users\username\Documents
Make it look like this, so that I can see the file path at the top and all of the folders inside.

Also could you show me a screenshot of C:\Users\username\Desktop like this:

And C:\Users\username\OneDrive like this:

If any of those contain a folder called EA Games then look in it and tell me whether all of your files are there, or whether you just have the default files (like the original Pleasantview and no custom content).

I want to know the full filepath- I can see that it says C:\Users\username\Documents\ EAGames\The Sims 2 but does it have anything else after the Sims 2 bit? The image is cut off.

What I am trying to ascertain is why none of your files are showing up in-game, but they are in SimPE. So I am trying to get you to show me the information I need to determine exactly where your game is saving files to. It looks as though you are using Osab's Sims2Starter Pack, which should have a savegame path of Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection but I need to see the contents of your folders to determine this. Please show me screenshots of these folders.

You are showing me the contents of C:\Users\username\Documents\ EAGames\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection but I need to see the contents of C:\Users\username\Documents\ EAGames. Is that what the last image is? I can't see any descriptions (only the image filename is showing for me).
What I am looking for is another set of userdata somewhere; you clearly have content in C:\Users\username\Documents\ EAGames\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection which is where osab's game should be looking, and you have another set on your desktop, but in your case you are saying the game does not see them... so I need you to find where the game IS looking, and copy these files to there.

You could do a computer search for all instances of 'The Sims 2' to find it, or manually look. In some versions of the ultimate collection there is a ™ symbol so I'm wondering if it's something like that.

I just found a Sims 2 Ultimate Collection save game folder that literally has nothing in it. It's saved in the "C:\Users\Public\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection"
And i dont know why but i have 2 duplicate documents save game folders.
