Hey, I'm trying to install CAW tool, which I got from this link patch 1.67 http://lvlt.thesims3.com//content/g...w/worldtool.exe and I think it matches my game, but whenever I click on the file to install it, it keeps asking me to install TS3 first, which I already have been playing for years and it's running smoothly! But the thing is, I don't know where I got it from, it was sent to me by someone I can't contact now. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi @ReenaSims What gameversion is your Sims 3? Is it a steam, origin or disc install?

How do you launch your game- through steam, or through the EA App, or through a shortcut on your desktop?

Through a shortcut.

Follow the link I gave to find your gameversion, just to check you are running the correct CAW version.

My game's version is 1.67.2.024
So is my CAW's version 😕

Where did youinstall your game to? Did you allow it to install to the default location, or did you install to a custom location? If you right click on your desktop shortcut and choose 'Properties', you should be able to see the target location.
