Every single time I change outfits on either of my sims, their lipstick turns red!

I don't like this, I gave them black and tan lipstick respectively because I liked the way they look, it's getting irritating to have to run to a mirror every time I want to change my appearance on either of them...

Does anyone know why this might be happening, and what I can do to fix it?

Can you set make up for each clothing category? I'll have to check it out, but if it changes between outfits I'd think so.

I had thought that, too, but when I change back to everyday, it's still red, and it's only the lipstick that's changing, not my eyeshadow or eyeliner... ::<

My sim went from a blonde to brunette when she got pregnant. Waiting to see if it will revert after she gives birth. I had selected different hair styles for different outfits. Don't know if this has any effect on hair color suddenly changing.
