I was on youtube for some reason and clicked on something that looked like a cover for a real song and it was them singing Three Cheers for Five Years and I liked it and then searched for more songs of theirs.

mayday parade is amazing =]

I went on someone's myspace and heard the original version of "when I get home you're so dead" (off their ep) and I instantly fell in love with their sound. I just had to find out who they were.
Then I saw them at Warped and Bamboozle xD

My favorite song off of "Tales told by dead friends" is one man drinking games
and "A lesson in romantics" has to be jersey or black cat =]

On iTunes. I was listening to another band, and in the bit where it says 'Similar Artist's# was Mayday Parade...the rest is history..

I liked Mayday Parade a lot when I first heard them but that's kinda cooled off now. I still think they're pretty good though

My friend sent me the ep version of "When I get home, you're so dead" and I had it constantly on my ipod for a good 2 weeks

On the "Punk Goes Pop" thing... Their cover of Somebody That I Used To Know was just HANDSOME ! I felt the need to hear what this band had already done...

I loved them... I loved the voice and the emotion the singer was putting into every single lyric !

I think this band has eventualy became my favourite band... I don't know why, but they're so touching. Their lyrics are beautiful...
