Default Pescado has fixed Story Progression!
The first mod (besides the no censor mod) is out at MATY:

It fixes:

A fambly you switch away from no longer loses all personal inventory.
4. Manual Navigation & Smarter Autonavigation

Go Here "Automatic" Mode smarter about choosing fastest movement mode.
5. Smarter Chair Selection: No more 80-mile hikes for bizarre chairs.
6. No 16K Handouts: Sims Split From Famblies Do Not Receive Magic Money.
7. Books Are Not Magic Scrolls: Books do not disintegrate after reading.
8. Allow Arbitrary Moves & Famblys
No adult requirement restrictions on CAS famblys.
Can split fambly without including an adult(deleted unauthorized baby!)
9. Less Whiny
10. Less Route Fail
11. No Idiotic Time Restrictions on Cooking
12. Steel Bladder Nerf
Sims now still have a bladder motive, but just won't pee themselves.
Brings power in line with perks of comparable cost (which don't remove
the motive entirely like this one does, yet cost more).
13. Athletic Tone Selector Now Smarter
No longer automatically uses the crappy basic option, instead picking a
smarter tone more suitable for your sim (NoSweat if high hygiene,
Push Self if not maxed, Good Pacing otherwise). User may still override
and pick another tone if desired as part of a quest or just because.
14. Debug commands enabled.
15. Additional codes for "destroyallhumans". Also townies, npcs.
16. 5-trait limit now overrideable. Semper Fidelis Tyrannosaurus!

Such a good point... myself and many others wouldn't even want to/be able to play this game without Pescado doing this for FREE! Up until this point I've only been testing TS3, not really playing committed. How could I, when things were happening that were totally beyond my control and approval??

A question though: Will this hack make my innactive households actually...ya know...leave the house? I have two sims I made and the first one was never seen outside.

Quoted for truth. I need Awesomemod because turning off story progression is key for me. I don't want all my single sims to be adopting babies while I'm off playing another family.

Two people are already having their games crashing at the loading screen with this installed...not sure if they did something wrong. I guess I'll just have to try it myself.

I'm so thankful for this hack!
I only wish the 'no 16k handout' and steel bladder nerf were put in a different file since I don't think they're actually bugs. =/

I had the NoZzz instaled, removed it, apparently that's not the issue.

They did the 16k handout because you could basically dupe money without cheating. If you didn't like the accidental dupe, there was no way to get back to the old amount of money without cheating.
