This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Boring, flat, non-animated, solid blue, water.
My water isn't...right? I cannot find my answer to this anywhere, if I overlooked it link me please or just call me an idiot. Either works. I have attached a screen shot of my problem along with what graphic setting I have enabled. Thanks.

I notice that you have some type of neighborhood texture mod. Could it be whatever is causing the water problem.
Have you removed all neighborhood mods from your downloads to see if the problem persists?

First off we need your computer spec primary your video card info.

That is the very low end specs that happen when the game either does not know what video card you have or your card/onboard video can not handle any thing more.

It was like this before the mod.
How do I find my video card information?

Put dxdiag into your start search area, that will show your specs.

@Lili975 only if the video can handle it, it will help, if the video can not handle it then doing that may burn up either the onboard or card they are using.

Some onboard video can handle that fix and that is why we need to see the spec's of the OP computer.

@jewelliadh you have the option after running dxdiag to save the info to (I think notepad or wordpad) and just either zip it up if you dont know what part show your video card info or post the part of the info which show it.

But, on the picture his smooth edges are grayed out. Doesn't that already say this pc might not be able to perform better than this?
Maybe that's also a sign there's an onboard graphic chip and not a separate card?
Then I certainly would pay attention to the warning after you click on the given link: WARNING: You should only follow this tutorial if you have a supported graphics card*. Following this tutorial while running on an unsupported or underpowered graphics card will result in an extra strain to your graphics card, or your computer. Read this if you want to be more informed.
