I'm sorry if this is not in the right section, but I do hope this isn't deleted (because that would be pretty sad.)

One of my best friends, who's been my friend since we were 6 dad died recently. He was suffering from a disease and unfortunatley it was winning.
Around September, he went into hospital pretty bad, and they told them he would die within weeks.
Luckily he pulled through (just before her birthday) and returned home.
Now about a week ago he went back into hospital, having trouble breathing.
This time, it was certain he would die. They gave him a week or two.
He died a few days later surrounded by his family and friends.

I am hoping that everyone can pray (and if your not religious) spare a thought for his family and my friend as they deal with this tough time.
The funeral is tomorrow which will also be a tough day for his family and kids.

That's terrible. It reminds me of a boy I've known since we were babies - if he died, I wouldn't be able to go on. You must be so upset. This is one of the worst things that can ever happen in your life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
