Default Two Tile Stairs
I have downloaded a few houses that have two tile stairs; one on the first floor and the second on the next tile on the floor above. How do I create this kind of stair? I have tried to figure this out on my own and am at a loss... I've tried with the moveobjects on cheat and boolprop snapobjects cheat to no avail.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: *Facepalms* Yep, I was wrong. Targa's steps look a lot easier though. XD Thanks for asking the question, 1simfamily, I had no idea it was possible.

That's probably one of Targa's creations:

Far as I know, the game doesn't let you make something like this by default; it requires hacking an object. You might try asking for help in the modding forums. (But if I'm wrong and you do figure it out, please share!) XD

Default two tile stairs
I believe these are what is called "stealth stairs". They are not hacks, but they are built using the constrainfloorelevation cheat. Search on the EA site for "stealth stairs" and you'll find a tutorial. Sorry I don't have the link to hand. People use these instead of lifts as they are a lot quicker for the sims to use in tall houses.

Thanks Jaxad, you have more patience than me... I try to avoid visiting that site.

Thank you all for your help. I did get Targas stairs but didn't have the ladder. That is so cool...
I am so amazed at how simmies can manipulate the game and greatful for all their hard work. I am not computer literate enough to figure these things out and thank you all.
The 'stealth stair' looks like what I am looking for; but the ladder is easier to use.

Happy simming.
