How do you give cash to families?

How do you give cash to families?

Is there a way I can give my sims money while in nieghborhood mode? Or do I have to move them to an empty lot and give them money , move them out; and then move them to the desired :sci: :salute: lot?

I tried
familyfunds Name 2,000,000

I put the family name where it states family but nothing happened. What am I do wrong
The family I'm using are Randolf
Can some tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks in Advance for all and any help anyone could provide

In a residential lot--Ctrl+Shift+C, then type in kaching (for 1,000) or motherlode (for 50,000) and tap Enter.

its familyFunds Randolf 5000000
or such- the second F should be capitalized and dont use coma's in the cash ammount. If you have two families in the bin with the same name it doesnt work.

you might not need to capitalise, my cheats never work if i do, unless it is the sims name itself with a capital in anyway

:salute: thanks guys problemed solved the name of the family has to be completely in caps.

the whole name needed to be caps? how weird
i often wonder why different combinations work for some and not others
