Family limit
is there anyway to take away the family limit on the game?

I don't think you can take it away, but I did see a download that could have up to 20 Sims in a household and/or 30 pets. I can't find it now, though...

There are quite a few hacks/mods that allow for more than 8 sims in a household. Squinge has one at Insimenator, there is one by Ancient Castaways, and I'm pretty sure there is one right here on MTS2 and another at Simbology.

Hi, if u download a hack for more than 8 sims, does youre game lag or does it run smooth?

SimLove: I would assume that it depends on your computer, and how well it can handle so many sims on a lot. The better your PC, the more likely the game is going to manage a few extra sims in the family.
