Ok, so I re-installed my game yesterday, but my bf didn't allow the patching. Where can I find the patch, and How do I do it? Thanks.

If you download http://modthesims.info/d/409829 The Sims Patch Downloader you can both update your base game and your expansions. Please update in the correct order from oldest to newest!

You really don't need a program to patch your game. Just download from here: http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php...lp:TS3_Patching ... there's no need to patch the EPs anymore, that was just for the first ~1 year or so after TS3 came out. Probably need just the "superpatcher, any region, any version" file. It's a pretty big file, though.

Now that TS3 is no longer being updated, is there a way to download the superpatch as a zip file?

I tried it yesterday and it failed, along with 4 other attempts to patch a brand new install on the tower I bought yesterday. The launcher kept telling me that the game was up to date even though no patches had been installed yet, then Verizon thought it was fun to keep cutting my internet connection, ect.

My point- If there is zip file of this somewhere, can somebody please direct me to it? I will save on on my new shiny external drive so that I don't have to go through all the crap I went through yesterday in the event of a hardware problem or whatever.
