When you reply to a super old thread, it gets back to the top of the forum itself. Usually people check out the ones that are showing up on the top so they'll of course see the thread However, while it's totally understandable why you want to share the re-opening for a thread and wanting to get all the help you can get, the general forum isn't exactly the correct forum to ask for more help.

People come along, and leave replies, which sometimes could take a few days (And I know that can be a little upsetting when you're trying to get something fixed) But next time it's good to take some time and wait till someone replies just so the general forum can be used for... well, gameplay talks And then there is also the fact that it's always better to leave dead threads alone and start your own one, so it's easier for other people to navigate your issue as well rather than thinking 'huh what is this old thread doing here?... hrm nevermind'
