Downtown lighting
Having a weird issue in my downtown and nothing I've found so far helped...
The lamps on community lots are acting up, lighting up walls and floors just fine but leaving objects way too dark. I know radiance tends to cause this, and forcing an error on the lamps or picking them up once helps.
So far, so good. It never sticks on residential lots, and I don't think it used to stick on community lots either, but since I moved to a new computer, this happens every time I have a sim go to some of my downtown community lots. Usually, entering them in build mode and saving after I've moved all lamps once fixed it. But now whenever I go back to playing on one of them, I have to force an error on all the lamps again. In the lots I've looked at, it even was fine from the start once I was entering them in build mode.
I've tried the setlotlightingfile clear cheat (in build mode, so I can save it) and it hasn't helped. It doesn't change anything about the light in play mode, either. I've also read somewhere to delete a text file called "downtown_lot" when the light in your downtown is acting up, but that hasn't helped either.
It tends to be the upper floor or when there is a platform under the first floor, for some reason...
Anyone got a fix or a workaround about this? Or any idea at all? It's driving me nuts.
