hello simmers.. well i don't know if my game is completely broken, i just edited a lot and used the lot cleaner and followed the instructions to remove all the memories etc.. since i edited the bates hotel lot and it worked fine for what i wanted, the thing is that i put a new family in there and everything froze, the sims didn't move etc..., so i used the lot cleaner and it worked, but i noticed that the weather never changed (even if it's winter it doesn't snow), but the ground is snowy, it's always the same, (if there's day and night), in the seasons it says summer, but everything is snowy and the sims are cold so it's cold.. i went to another lot and this was weirder, those sims already have 2 generations and their wishes are to talk, and things that the sims want for the first time... also another lot is always snowy and it never changes, can this be fixed?..

Ideally, the lot cleaner is supposed to be used on unoccupied lots, so not sure if that's got anything to do with it.

Is the lot a hotel lot or a residential lot?
Do you have the full game with AL/M&G (just asking because missing some EPs, especially AL/M&G, could cause issues with some lots)?

Did you do a backup of your game (which you really should be doing before editing in SimPE or doing larger edits ingame that have potential for issues happening)?

Have you sorted out the other game issues you've had recently - if not, could this be related?

Have you added any new CC/mods/etc. very recently?

Have you tried the batbox (FFS debugger) - it has weather options to clear snow and set temperature to normal.

Hello simmer22, sorry for my delay, it's just that I caught a virus and I was in bed, I'm still pretty bad, I was trying a little, and with that batbox, the truth is that it relieved me a lot, it removed the eternal snow and now the game runs better, I had only added inaccessible beds and a sakura tree that changes the seasons, I removed both mods, now it runs better, it's raining, it's sunny, it's snowing again (and it goes away!), etc... That said, I saw hail in summer, I don't know if that's right, I didn't have much more time, I entered the lot of some older sims and not all of them have bad memories, it happens to the head of the family, his fears and desires are contradictory, for example he wants someone to be cured of lycanthropy, but at the same time he's afraid that he will be cured... he's also afraid of dying himself, I've never seen that, he says he's afraid of dying "his name"... you'll tell me if that happens in the game. There's a 10% chance of hail in summer by default ingame (and apparently it's somewhat common with hail in summer in RL too, although personally I mostly see it around winter where I live, though it has happened during other seasons too). https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Precipitation#Hail



If he wants someone else to be cured (named sim?), but doesn't want to be cured himself, that's technically not a contradiction.
I think sims can be afraid of dying, especially if they've had a close encounter (electrocution by electronics or something similar), and if they have a loved one they can be afraid of them dying. Pretty sure I've seen that fear pop up. Not entirely sure what happens ingame, though (maybe if resurrected they do so with a very low aspiration bar).

Unless they're crazy Knowledge sims that want to be saved from death lol.
