Since I started playing my custom Uni with dorms I built myself, I noticed that dormies will never cook for themselves even if a fully functional kitchen is available, meaning they inevitably end up starving and in a constant bad mood (but unable to die...), unless I make my playable students serve food for the whole dorm or order pizza
Even making them selectable usig the SimBlender and directing them to cook, the action is immediately canceled.

I guess the dormie behaviour was coded assuming that every dorm should include a cafeteria stove with an NPC cook, however I find this very unrealistic to have a cook in every dorm (maybe it is common in the US I don't know) and doesn't fit my idea for this neighborhood.

Is there a mod that would let dormies use the common dorm kitchen to feed themselves? Other than hunger they seem to do fine taking care of their needs
Searching on this topic I've only found mods affecting the NPC cook behaviour or allowing dormies to die of hunger, which is not what I want
