Default Vertexdeclaration error in TSRW
Hi

I am trying to make an object using the tutorial linked below. When I import the object a pop-up says "This object uses a vertexdeclaration with a usageindex that is non-zero..."

I am not sure how to fix or work around this issue. Any ideas or solutions? Thank you!

I've seen that with meshes I converted from either MMD or XPS. I basically ignored it. I really haven't noticed any problem with the CC in game. Sometimes, you just have to try something and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply.

I ignored the message but as the warning states my object's textures are slightly offset in game. If it weren't a building with doors and windows the issue wouldn't be very noticeable.

I'm very curious how others have successfully followed the tutorial

The CAW guys might see this and look, but posts under "meshing" aren't often thought of as buildings issues, so they may not have looked. Perhaps try reposting this in the CAW section and that it's a texture alignment issue on a building. Is it a conversion from another game? 4 to 3? And perhaps a shot of your UV map.

Ok. I'll give that a try. It was a s4 to s3 conversion but I tested a base game cloned object and it throws the same error. Thanks again!
