Default (Somewhat solved)TSRW error
Hi

I am trying to make an object using the tutorial linked below. When I import the object a pop-up says "This object uses a vertexdeclaration with a usageindex that is non-zero..."

I am not sure how to fix or work around this issue. Any ideas or solutions? Thank you!

Better to ask in modding/creating section and not CAW?

Ha! I sent him here. Apparently, it has something to do with UV alignments and building shells... I think. I did tell him to mention that.

Did you use the exact same base object as in the tutorial?
As they don't mention it, I'd figure that object doesn't suffer from this issue.

To me, it seems like this message means that specific object has a type of data that TSRW and/or the mesh format simply doesn't support. I've seen it before on rabbitholes.
Perhaps best to try and find an object without this limitation, unless you're familiar enough with S3PE to import through that instead or restore the needed data.

Thank you all for the replies

Unfortunately I am unable to add a self illumination map to objects that don't have one so I need to use an object that has it. And yes I used the exact object and other objects that have self illumination but I received the same error. I was told by someone who followed the tutorial that they got the error 99% of the time. So it seems to be a matter of chance with tsrw. I have tried this tutorial on 3 versions of tsrw with the same results. Hopefully tsrw doesn't hate me one day!

You can try a different version of TSRW. I currently have 4 versions on desktop.

I've tried on versions
2.0.86.0
2.2.119.0
2.0.88.0

I saw there's a 2.2.92 that I will try as well
