everytime i call the gypsy she comes over but there's no interaction for buying potion or asking for a blind date.i can't even ask people on the community lot for a date or even a blind date by phone

There are hacks which are known to cause troubles with the Gipsy. If you don't want to loose those hacks, you have to live with the not working Gipsy. But if you update your hacks to the NL version (if available), you can have the Gipsy and the hacks. Info on the hacks can be found in the threads where you downloaded them.
