Default Nighltife Patch does not install
I've try a lot of time to apply the Nightlife patch to my game, but it seems impossible. It just open ask for the disk 2 of nightlife and then i put it, just stop without doing anything or even an error message. If I try with disk 2 already in, it just open and close without doing anything.
I have deleted my download folder and I have no other hacked files.

Do you get the message OK or Cancell? If you do click ok and patch will install. If you are not getting this message then the drive is not reading that your disk is present.

My drive is ready with the disk 2 inside, and I don't get any message, I just see the patch window opening and closing in less than a sec. It clearly recognize the disk 2, because if I put another disk (the 1, or whatever), it asks me to put the disk 2 to begin. When I insert it , and it read it the patch closes itself without doing anything.

I asked another patch poster this, if you are running windows xp you are selecting run and not save, right?

I'm having the same problem i guess =/ I downloaded the patch on a friends computer (i only have slow dial up) and took it home on my USB pen...
I double click the file...it asks me to put in Disc 2 of Nightlife...I do so...click OK...and then it dissapears...no error message, no nothing.
Do I have to redownload the file and instead of saving choose Run?

Are you running the patch that is still saved on your USB pen? Copy it to your computer and then run it from there. Do you have the same problem?

Hehe, first thing I did was copy it to my desktop.
It's pretty weird why it won't install

I'm in the process of re-downloading it and I'll see if it makes a difference since this time I selected Run. It's at 40% with 57minutes to go (gah)...I'll report back after it's done *fingers crossed that it will work*

Sure enough, it worked this time. So it IS important to click on "Run" instead of Save.

Phew, glad that got resolved!
:D
