Black coffee is certainly an acquired taste, but I like it. What I don't understand is how anyone can drink frilly Starbucks coffee before they leave for work in the morning- I don't drink coffee in the morning because the caffeine has no effect on me, but the last thing I want at such an ungodly hour is a cup of pure sugar. I think that black coffee is for the morning and creamed coffee is for the evening.
