The most popular show on Sim Broadcasting Network these days is Super Nekochan! It follows the adventures of a perky magical girl from another world, who faces the forces of darkness with naught but her bravery and the Sword of Whalloping in her hand. Of course, Sims devoted to the show know that bright and bubbly Nekochan is really the Princess Crystallina, from the doomed ice planet Diamondei, and that her adventures come to her as she searches the galaxy for those responsible for unleashing the dark magic that is causing her beloved homeworld to waste away. Who is the enigmatic Prince Fenrir and why is Nekochan so irresistably drawn to him? Is he a friend, or could he possibly be the greatest foe she will ever have to face?
Super Nekochan! stars talented teen Sim actors Nana Komatsu and Sanji Narayan.

Heh. I was a little weary of rarely finding Sim-realistic (meaning, featuring Sims and Simlish) posters and art to adorn the walls of my Sims' houses, so I decided to come up with some of my own. My first series, as you might have guessed from the blurb above, is the Super Nekochan! series, a spoof on all of those magical girl animes. I've created a run of 10 different Nekochan posters, featuring Nekochan in both her magical girl form and Princess Crystallina persona, as well as a couple showing the handsome Prince Fenrir. I kept these strictly as posters, rather than art, so that they would be inexpensive and because these sorts of pictures are meant to appeal to teenage or young adult Sims, who are more likely to have posters in their bedrooms than anything more expensive.
Most of these posters do, unfortunately, require the University expansion. Sorry about that. Maxis originals used are as follows:
snc01 - Surfing the Universe (Uni)
snc02 - Space Oddity (Uni)
snc03 - We Call it Football (Uni)
snc04 - The Truth is Somewhere (Uni)
snc05 - Searing Indifference
snc06 - Civic Idol
snc07 - It's Reggae, Mon (Uni)
snc08 - Surfing the Universe (Uni)
snc09 - The Truth is Somewhere (Uni)
snc10 - We Call it Football (Uni)
Pictures were taken in-game. zip files are available for each individual poster, so you don't have to get any you don't like, or all in one so you can get them all in one download if you want.
I hope everyone enjoys these. I had a load of fun making them (got to get crazy with the sparkles and lens flares!) Much eternal gratitude to the creators of SimPE and the Wizards of SimPE component and to the modders whose wonderful custom content I've used and enjoyed in my game. Oh, and to the free CG art site where I got the backgrounds. Thanks everyone! Happy Simming!
