Hi all, just joined up a few days ago and this is my first upload:
"The Valhalla Collection", a set of richly carved and gold-inlaid wall panels for your Sims' new mansion! Now you can make the interior of their home look like a palace! :o) To install the walls, just extract the .package files from the zip to your saved games Downloads folder, and enjoy!
I created these textures myself using Maxon Cinema4D to construct the wall segments as 3D objects, then rendered them out to bitmaps for import to the game.
Edit: Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I've now extended this collection to include additional paint and tile walls, plus a light wood version of the original dark wood panels. Included is my "Country Village" outdoor walls made of stone, plaster and wood panels; these are similar to the Maxis masonry panels but with more realistic stone and wood surfaces. There's also a set of floor tiles now, with parquetry, carpet and tile surfaces to go with the walls.
Each set is in a separate zip file to keep download sizes down. These files are as follows:
ValhallaCollection.zip: The original dark wood panels I released.
CV_WallStone.zip: New - The "Country Village" exterior masonry panels.
CV_WallWood.zip: New - The "Country Village" exterior wooden panels.
VC_FloorCarpet.zip: New - Carpet textures to go with the Valhalla wall panels. These include edging patterns as well as flat carpet, which is why the file is so big - there's edges, corners, and single-width patterns for each of the seven main carpet colours.
VC_FloorLarge.zip: New - 5x5 tile floor textures, including tiles, wooden decking, and a nice crazy paving to make your garden paths with!
VC_FloorWood.zip: New - Parquetry textures to go with the Valhalla wall panels. Definitely try these if you've used the wall panels from my first download - they look fantastic!
VC_WallPaint: New - Simplified paint-based versions of the wall panels, with white wood trim, in 7 colours.
VC_WallPanelsLight: New - The original wooden wall panels now in light wood.
VC_WallTiles: Tiled walls without the wood paneling, and white wainscoting instead.
