Farm set 1 - The Barn

Sometimes I have built things in the Sims as a challenge to see how close I can get to the original, real life building. I have done my parents home and during the past few days have been working on building my grandparent's (mother's side) farm which is in Eastern Kansas (it now belongs to my uncle).

One thing I wanted to do is show my sons how my grandpa built a "round" house. Well, that's what all the grandkids called it because we could run from the kitchen, through the bathroom, through the bedroom, through the sitting room, through the dining/living room, and back to the kitchen.

There are several things that Sims2 did not have to make this build more accurate. I'll be posting more as I work on thim, but here is this set: .

dark green window (the trim on my grandparents house was dark green)
dark blue window (the trim on my uncles house was dark blue)
window with peeling white paint (well sometimes the barns weren't always painted "on time")
