All this stuff was supposed to be the foundation for a site that alas never came to see the light of day....

I once had huge plans for that site though: i wanted it to be very conceptual with a mix of storytelling and downloads, everything with the framing in shape of a company of miserable and desillutionated artists and entertainers: The Cabaret Macabre!

It could have been great - or absolutely worthless - we'll never know since I lost interest and the necessary sparetime long ago...

But the clothes are still with me and I think it would be nice if I could offer them exclusively to MTS2 so that others could enjoy them too. So here we go!

They are all tossed in one big .rar but each clothing has it's separate folder with a name that correspondate with the descriptions on the screenshots below (click the thumbnails on the bottom of the page for larger pictures).

Meshes are included!

Mesh Credits

Milicent's dress: Mesh__FCvicdress2 - All About Style -> Meshes page -> Page 5, second mesh

Louise's dressinggown: Mittelalter Kleid Besens Sims 2 Site (Dead or just resting?)

Louise's bustle dress: Tournuere - 2-f0r-u -> Meshes -> Fashion -> Female Adult -> Page 4, fourth mesh

William's black coat: "Guilty Outfit" by Sshodan - here on MTS2

Louise's lace gown:Corset dress by Starangel13 (mesh has been removed from MTS2)

A big, huge THANK YOU! to all creators!

These recolours were all made pre-Pets so there should be no such issues. Base game-only compliant if other not specifically stated (see the screenshots).

...You may upload my clothing with your sims to free sites (but remember that none of the meshes were made by me so check with respective creator!). Remember that being credited gives me warm fuzzy feelings but you're not obliged to credit me as long as you don't claim my work as your own

...You may freely use everything I make in pictures/movies/stories without crediting me

...You may use my textures or parts thereof for your own projects but remember that credit is nice (and that whatever you make must stay free!)

Enjoy!

Edited To Add:
26th April 2008:
Thanks to MidnightVoyager and Jenfold at Garden of Shadows , the long lost mesh by StarAngel has finally been recovered. This has been added to the .rar (and I will put it in a safer place on my hard drive this time...)

Some of you have asked where the curtains in the picture are from. They are indeed lovely and I traced them to Sims 2 Ellis.ru. The site is terribly slow for me tonight and I don't feel like crawling through 17 pages of decorative objects right now , but you should probably find them under New objects -> Decorative
ETA again: What the heck - here it is (the mesh; the recolour pictured in my screenshot is on the next page)

There were also requests for the background stories on the characters, so I simply uploaded the website as it looked when I abandoned it. It's only the biographies but that was what you requested anyway (just excuse my crappy English. I had planned to go over all the bios before the official launch, but that one never came to be, as we all know...)
