Tak-otak is a pagoda inspired by a roof style found from the south pacific to south-east asia. It's the logical successor to Tak: Tak was a humble house, Tak-otak is a temple!

It's on a 3x3 lot, and has only one floor, containing two rooms big enough for double beds (and not much else), and two bathrooms. The rest of the house is living area. The shaman and his family can live a cozy, frugal life there, and they'll have to, since the house costs a cool $63,351

It's my first house using Niol's "double-sided" tile. This discovery is going to be a goldmine for me: Finally, an up-sloping roof is possible! Many praises to Niol, the exalted one!

So there are three levels just for the roof in this house. I like elaborate!

Tak-otak is part XIII of the Shozen series. Check out my profile for the other parts.

* I built it in Open for Business, but you might not need to have this EP to run it. Please, if you test it without the EP, and it works, let me know.
* Hack-free
* My Ultimate Architecture Tutorial can be found here
* To run this house on your machine, and to build interior walls, you need to install the Unleveled Walls by Numeror (Praise be his name!) These walls are not a normal install: They don't go into the regular downloads folder. Read Numeror's instructions and do not use Qxpress to install the walls.

* Tak-otak uses one custom wallpaper and one custom tile, both by me.

Let me know how you like it, give me thanks if deserved. And if you really like it, please give it a good rating.

If you use it in the game, I'd love it if you could post a screenshot or two here. Thanks!
